Someone might also be posting a personal picture or spreading lies and rumours.
A group of people might exclude a person from being in their group which will make that person feel bad. They could also trick someone into giving them their personal information so they can post it and send it to others.
In gaming chat rooms, the bullies might tease the victims easily because the victim doesn't know who it is.

Teens should never respond to an attack, they can just ignore it till it stops.
Teenagers need to know that they can trust someone like an adult or teacher in the school. The parents of the students who are being bullied will know how to deal with it. They might go to the principal and complain that they aren't doing anything to prevent the bullying.
They will need proof that a student is bullying another so a victim should print or save any evidence of cyberbullying.
The people who sent the mean text or picture should be blocked by the victim so they won't be able to communicate with them anymore.
Parents should deal with this like its a big problem. They should never say to their child its just kids being kids because its more than that.
The parents should always talk with their teen to know how they feel and if it needs to be taking to the principal.
The adults should tell the victims how to not be a victim or a bully.

To prevent cyberbullying, schools need to have a program that teaches people how cyberbullying can hurt someone.
The problem is schools can't do anything to any cyberbullying cases that happen off-campus. If they do they will get sued and they will often lose the case.
Parents are usually the last people victims go to because they tend to overreact.
Instead of going to the parents, students go to the guidance counselor sometimes which is the same thing but they might not be able to do anything either if its off-campus.
